Exact-match duplicate investigation
Titles and abstracts are normalized for case, whitespace and punctuation. Matching topics are not necessarily duplicates. AI-based semantic similarity will be added after the secure backend is established.
AI-assisted academic screening
This module is planned for the secure Gemini API integration stage.
The AI will score abstracts against an approved conference rubric, provide evidence and recommendations, and never automatically change an official acceptance decision.
Editorial workflow
Editorial decisions and audit history will be enabled after private Google Sheets synchronization and permission enforcement are complete.
Committee members will have operational privileges; only the administrator can change system settings.
Proceedings publishing studio
The official Book of Abstracts PDF generator will be implemented after editorial decisions, publication approval, and version freezing are working.
The printing service will receive only the approved PDF, not unpublished author records.
Administrator-only system settings
Not activated in this prototype. A real administrator-only area requires backend-enforced authentication. Hiding a button or asking for a browser password is not sufficient security.
